Cookie Policy
How we use cookies and local storage, and how you can control them.
This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies, such as browser local storage, on our website and store.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Local storage works similarly but keeps data on your device until it is cleared. Both let a website remember information between page loads and visits.
2. Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off:
• Authentication and session cookies that keep you signed in and secure your account.
• Security tokens that protect against cross-site request forgery and abuse.
• Cart and checkout storage that remembers your basket and selected currency.
• Payment cookies set by our payment partner Paddle during the secure checkout step.
• Preference storage that remembers whether you dismissed the install prompt or a banner.
3. Analytics
Where enabled, we use analytics cookies to understand which pages are visited and how the store performs. These are used in aggregate and never to identify you personally. Analytics are only loaded when analytics are switched on for this site.
4. Marketing
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell data to advertising networks.
5. Third parties
• Paddle.com sets cookies during checkout to process the payment and prevent fraud.
• Embedded video players (for example YouTube trailers) may set cookies when you play a video. We use privacy-enhanced embedding where the provider supports it.
• Google is used only if you choose Google sign-in.
6. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings — all major browsers explain how in their help pages. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in, the cart and checkout. You can also clear local storage from the same browser settings.
7. Retention
Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies and storage entries used for sign-in and preferences last up to 12 months unless you clear them earlier.
8. Changes and contact
We update this policy whenever our cookie usage changes. Questions can be sent to the contact address published below.
